Fascinating days in Berwick at the start of October when a film crew arrived to shoot some scenes for the film ‘Outlaw King’ and dressed up the quayside like a medieval market. Needless to say the public came out in droves to watch and learn how it is done and it was interesting and impressive to see the large number of extras involved and the wonderful planning that went in to recreate a 14c scene with stalls, cranes, pens with goats and donkeys, and even a stocks for punishing local baddies. The company involved in the production have to be admired for the enormous outlay that must be involved in producing a film in a period setting like this and we all look forward to viewing it once released.
